Ok people this is a hostage situation
If my demands aren't met i'll kill an NPC per hour
1) Don't automatically share gold that is picked up during missions, wait until the end of the mission to split up the gold, leavers would think about twice before disconnecting and this would give some sort of compensation to the party that has to deal with - 1 player 2) Give to Alesia some survival instincts 3) Ok, we got the point, farming is bad... Would it be too unreasonable to at least increase good drop rates in the Ring of Fire Islands or in deep parts of Lornar's Pass? (i dare anyone to solo there!) 4) Diminish the number of times europe needs to win a battle in the HoH to get the favor, we are seriously getting our asses kicked out there by America and even more so by Korea. Favor not switching a lot sucks for Europe and leaves no real challenge for Korea and America who are always fighting each other Overall, GW is still an excellent game, doesn't mean it can't be improved! Add on some demands and lets go slay some NPCs !!! edit: if an admin could put this in the Sardelac Sanitarium, i accidentally misplaced the thread Last edited by medikamen; Jul 29, 2005 at 07:04 PM // 19:04.. I think that #1 is a great idea. Make it also save the weapons where you can see them but there not actually yours until the mission has ended.
I hate when people drop when you start something. Especially at the very beginning for no apparent reason. Not sure about the other things you mentioned....... (I kinda want America to have favor 24/7 lol) Sorena Mascar |

2) also a good idea 3) oh i can get just about anywhere solo, and i would rather drops werent improved, i like to actually work for money on here, and i like to be able to sell things 4)you can always switch to american servers if you think we got it so good, but it seems to me like europe and korea has favor quite a bit |

All loot might be a pain. You pick up an AWESOME weapon, worth 100k+, then your group can't finish the mission. What a bummer.

You just have to stick with your group until the mission ends - in failure or success. I like it.

I like #1, more gold for the people that stay in a mission that worked for it. But its almost impossible to do, what if you fail, no gold. If gold is shared when you fail, then someone that wants to leave might fail the mission on purpose just to get his gold. So it's a bad idea since it can't be implimented. |

what about for that poor soul in the group who gets all these good drops but can't get them till the end of the mission and then sees an ERROR 77 or something as his internet crashes... oops guess he isn't getting that stuff now huh. I'll all for looting the dead once the fight is over.

1) Potentially a good idea, but with all the Err=7 (and maybe the implentation of a votekick system soon), this can turn into a downright nightmare.
2) Bah, henchies. 3) Anet is going a certain way with nerfing drops and I can understand them on some level. To decrease drops just means that the heavy farmers will keep on spending larger and larger amounts of time farming to still get their drops, and the casual farmers will now almost never get something worthwhile. They're still doing a good job fighting inflation like this. As it stands now: heavy farmers = very rich casual farmers = poor Increase drops: heavy farmers = insanely rich (money becomes worthless and you pay in stacks of 250 ectoplasms) casual farmers = rich (in money, which is now useless anyway) 4) Europe needs to start sucking less. Europe simply doesn't have either of the two ingredients that America and Korea has: 1.) An INSANE percentage of gamers in the population. and 2.) An INSANE percentage of those gamers who take their crap way too seriously. I'm more of a Euro-type gamer myself: I like to play the game for the sake of playing it and having fun, and it's better yet when friends are on, not to go out and own everyone in sight. |

Relax man, I know we Euros don't suck.
We just need to buy more Koreans. Problem solved. Also yes, Europe has good players, but well, everyone seems to move to American servers nowadays. Which are getting cluttered. So any chance we had to win against both the American and Korean juggernauts are getting even more reduced. Last edited by Lagg; Jul 29, 2005 at 09:03 PM // 21:03.. |

1. Just the gold, not the drops. Err=7 complaints would skyrocket like Aunt Jemima after she sat on a pin.
2. Why not just teach Alesia how to heal, she'd actually be of use then. 3. Ring of Fire yes, Thunderhead Keep ensures very few people who bother to bot get passed the South Shiverpeaks part of the game. 4. Europeans win plenty, they just need to stop getting bored after the first few rounds in tombs. My teams have been wasted by Euros plenty of times. 5. Alesia would be inept as a smiter as well. 6. Just rename Dunham "Dood [Stoner Henchman]" and give him a backpack full of weed. He never does anything anyways. 7. Just put a RED GORED ENGINE block on the wankers who spam in caps. If you're so desperate for attention brought to your item it's likely that nobody is messaging you when you type civilly because the item sucks. 8. Just force the caps-RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs into one district called the 'reject district', and have the words "The caps lock key is only 3 microns away from the 'a' key where your pinky finger rests in standard touch-typing. Do everyone a favour and tap that, then rip it off the keyboard" spam the channel every 30 seconds. My additions: 9. Add a votekick system for districts where honest people can team up against @#$%holes and boot them from the district. 10. Give little Thom Healing Signet. Or at least make him use it. Stefan is FAR superior to the man with the last letter people are never sure of - simply because the French Fighter has the intelligence to heal himself. 11. Make Claud cast Well Of Blood more. 12. Hell, just increase the IQ of all the henchies please. Right now they're only slightly better than the average n00b. |

To all the guys who disapprove why my first idea (sharing gold at the end of the mission), i never said anything about the rest of the l00t. Sharing objects is fine. Since the amount of gold dropped during a mission is fairly limited, but sufficient to make players want to stay until the end of the mission (even if they fail), leavers would think about twice before beaming out after the first pet dies. If a player really has to leave, i think that the rest of the party deserves a little compensation... and come on, even though if they guy s comp bugs, i don't think losing 300 gold will put an end to his world
